SFVC uses a philosophy of empowerment. We provide options for individuals to choose the best path for themselves. In 2020, SFVC is looking to operate another full year as a comprehensive agency and provide services to all populations represented within our community.  Our goal at SFVC is to strengthen the family because we believe strong families build strong communities.

29% of women in the US have experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by a partner.

Child Abuse

45% of intimate partner violence perpetrators also abuse children in the household.

Male Rape

28% of male victims of completed rape were first raped when they were 10 years old or younger.

College Women

Nearly 1 in 3 college women (29%) say they’ve been in an abusive dating relationship.
